The Australasian Data Mining Conference is devoted to the art and science of intelligent data mining: the meaningful analysis of (usually large) data sets to discover relationships and present the data in novel ways that are compact, comprehensible and useful for researchers and practitioners.
In 2016 the conference is co-hosted with the Australian Statistical Conference and OZCots and all attendees at any of the conferences have access to all sessions at all conferences for the one registration.
AusDM 2016 will bring together Data Mining, Statistics, and Business Analytics community researchers and practitioners to share and learn of research and progress in the local context and new breakthroughs in data mining algorithms and their applications.
The conference proceedings will be published under the Conferences in Research and Practice in Information Technology series for distribution at the conference.
We invite two types of submissions for AusDM 2016:
- Research Track: Normal academic submissions reporting on research progress.
- Industry and Government Track: Submissions from government and industry are sought that report on specific data mining implementations and experiences.
The conference will also host an Invited Industry and Government Track and a AusDM Student Data Mining Competition.
