The 16th Australasian Data Mining Conference

The AusDM conference has concluded for the year. We would like to thank all delegates, keynote speakers, tutorial presenters, and all those who submitted papers. We hope the conference was an enjoyable and enlightening experience, and look forward to seeing you again next time. Stay tuned to the relevant channels for information regarding the publishing of conference proceedings and the 17th Australasian Data Mining Conference in Adelaide for 2019.

We have lodged the papers with Springer. Given the Christmas period, the initial proof is expected to be sent to authors in February (accounting for Springer’s turnaround time).

AusDM 2018 Organising Committee

The Australasian Data Mining Conference (AusDM) has established itself as the premier Australasian meeting for both practitioners and researchers in data mining. It is devoted to the art and science of intelligent analysis of (usually big) data sets for meaningful (and previously unknown) insights. This conference will enable the sharing and learning of research and progress in the local context and new breakthroughs in data mining algorithms and their applications across all industries.

Specifically, the conference seeks to showcase: Research Prototypes; Industry Case Studies; Practical Analytics Technology; and Research Student Projects. AusDM’18 will be a meeting place for pushing forward the frontiers of data mining in academia and industry. AusDM 2018 will offer a variety of keynote speakers and tutorials on important and interesting contemporary topics in data mining. Get in touch with the AusDM community at the AusDM LinkedIn Group, or on Facebook or Twitter.

Springer Publishing Communication in Computer and Information Science

Since AusDM’02 the conference has showcased research in data mining, providing a forum for presenting and discussing the latest research and developments. Built on this tradition, AusDM’18 will facilitate the cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas, experience and potential research directions. This year AusDM is proud to announce that conference proceedings will be published in Springer’s Communication in Computer and Information Science. Previous proceedings (from 2006 to 2016), have been printed as volumes in the CRPIT series.
